Monday-  “How the States Got Their Shapes” video

Students will learn the different languages and dialects of different regions of the United States.

 

Tuesday-  PLATO Lab

Students will research states for video presentations on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Tuesday- No Classes (Algebra I STAAR Test)

 

Wednesday-  Class will meet in Mrs. Griffin’s room;

How the States Got Their Shapes film, “Mouthing Off”

Students will learn the different dialects, accents, and languages around our nation.

 

Thursday-  Classes will meet in the PLATO Lab;

Research over different states of our country for video presentation.

 

Friday-  Classes will meet in Coach Brown’s room;

Students will present videos over their assigned states.

 

 

Week of May 6th

Monday-  No Classes, World Geography STAAR Test!

 

Tuesday-  Classes will meet in Coach Brown’s room due to STAAR testing

Students will learn about boundaries, culture, history, and the geography of our country.

 

Wednesday-  How the States Got Their Shapes video – “Use it or Lose it”

Students will learn about boundaries, culture, history, and the geography of our country.

 

Thursday-  Map Lesson – Texas Highway Map

Students will learn all aspects of the Texas highway map and how to use it.

 

Friday- Worksheet over Texas highway map.

Students will work solving various questions over the Texas highway map.
